The notification* of hydrogen peroxide ( H₂O₂) for product type PT 11—“Preservatives for liquids in cooling and process systems”—was submitted by Evonik within the deadline and accepted.
What does this mean for you, your application, and the use of hydrogen peroxide-based biocides in cooling and process systems?

  • For PT 11, hydrogen peroxide-based biocide products must contain Evonik’s active ingredient in the future.
  • For PT 12 slime control agents, the use of hydrogen peroxide will no longer be permitted in the future.
